SSE Renewables is developing a site in Offaly.
Up to 80 construction jobs will be created during the development of a wind farm in Offaly.
SSE Renewables is planning to develop the Yellow River Wind Farm outside Rhode which was granted full planning consent in 2014.
The UK energy companys says the 29-turbines will generate enough green energy to power over 50,000 homes yearly.
The project is expected to be completed by 2022.
