A Laois man is highlighting the vital work of the Irish Cancer Society's transport service ahead of Daffodil Day.
Portlaoise's Robert Flanagan first got a diagnosis of stage four colorectal cancer in 2024 which had spread to his liver.
The father of two travels up to Tallaght Hospital for his treatment, thanks to the service provided by the Irish Cancer Society.
It's one of the various aspects benefiting directly from public donations gathered through the annual fundraising campaign taking place on Friday.
