Plans have been submitted for a mix of two, three and four bed homes.
A proposal has been submitted for almost 100 new homes in Laois.
The development would be built on a site on Bishopswood Road in Portarlington.
The plans include 71 three-bed homes, 17 two-bed homes and 9 four-bed houses.
A creche is also planned in the proposal, along with site works such as footpaths, car parking and public lighting.
A decision is due from Laois County Council in February.
