She passed away in a collision in Galway earlier this month.
Tributes are being paid to a midlands woman who had a smile so big "it would light up a room."
Athlone mum Irene Lynch passed away in a single-vehicle crash in the Menlo area of Galway City on Friday, March 15th.
Her sister, Marcella, says her heart is broken "beyond repair" by the death of Irene, and she doesn't know how her life will go on without her.
In a post on social media, she says losing her sister was the hardest thing she ever had to do.
Irene is survived by her children Daniel and Isobel, her parents Pat and Anne, and her brothers and sisters.
