Both Hezbollah and Israeli forces have conducted attacks.
Hezbollah rockets have hit Israel's third largest city Haifa, as the country looks set to expand ground incursions into southern Lebanon.
The attack comes on the first anniversary of the October 7th attacks in the country.
Israeli police confirmed rockets had struck Haifa, and local media said 10 people were wounded there.
The Israeli military continues to carry out airstrikes in Beirut, along with targets in the south of the country where Irish Defence Forces soldiers are serving as part of a UNIFIL mission.
