Gardaí are investigating after cash and a chequebook were stolen from a man in the midlands.
The incident occurred on Main Street in Rathdowney on Wednesday at around 5.30pm in the evening.
Gardaí say he was in his car when the items were stolen from him.
They are appealing for those with camera or dashcam footage to come forward.
Anyone with any information is being asked to contact Portlaoise Garda Station.
