15 male asylum seekers are currently placed in a 3-bedroom semi-detached house in Laois, without the permission of the property owner.
Representatives of a facility already accommodating asylum seekers have housed the individuals in a home in Portarlington that had previously been empty and on the market for sale.
IPAS say they did not approve the decision to place asylum seekers there, while the Gardaí have attended the scene but taken no action.
