Baby Owl Rescued By Offaly ISPCA

They're thankful it wasn't more badly injured.

A baby owl rescued by an ISPCA inspector in Offaly is expected to make a full recovery. 

Deirdre Scally says the less than one month old bird was distressed when she found it beneath a tree in Daingean. 

She believes the animal had fallen from its nest and intends to release it back into the wild once it's able to fend for itself. 

Ms. Scally is thankful that it didn't sustain worse injuries:
