"Beneficial" Discussion Between IFA And New Agriculture Ministers

Three items in particular were on the agenda.

The Irish Farmers' Association say initial discussions with the Agriculture Minister and his junior colleagues have been beneficial. 

Midlands Minister Barry Cowen and both Ministers of State Pippa Hackett and Martin Heydon held their first official meeting with the farming organisation yesterday evening. 

Brexit fallout, the CAP budget and potential establishment of a food ombudsman were all on the agenda.
