A man in his 50s and a woman in her 20s lost their life in an accident in Banagher yesterday.
An Offaly community is heartbroken this morning after a workplace accident claimed the lives of a father and daughter.
Denisa Mihaela and Ioan Chinez lost their lives while working at Banagher Precast Concrete yesterday morning.
The family's mother also works at the plant.
They were pronounced dead at the scene with a post mortem examination scheduled to take place at the Midlands Regional Hospital in Tullamore.
While the Health and Safety Authority says its investigating the incident.
Their deaths have been met with an outpouring of condolences online.
