A government TD in Laois says his county is being neglected by the IDA
Fine Gael's Sean Fleming says there are more than 300,000 IDA-supported jobs across Ireland, only around 150 of those are located in Laois.
In response, Enterprise Minister and Longford Westmeath TD Peter Burke says 51 IDA client companies were operating in the Midlands last year, employing 7,501 people in total.
On a county by county basis, Westmeath has 4,474 IDA jobs, there's 1,572 in Longford, 1,299, in Offaly and 156 in Laois.
