Farmers are calling for Ash Dieback CAPP payments to be exempt from USC and PRSI.
The Irish Cattle and Sheep Farmers Association says farmers and landowners are going through a major effort to tackle the ash dieback problem and need 'meaningful support' from the Government.
The Climate Action Performance Payment is worth €5,000 per hectare and would be subject to USC between 0.5% and 8% and PRSI of 4%.
