Car-Free Strategy "Won't Work" In The Midlands Says Retailer

Making midlands towns car-free 'won't work and it can't work', according to a midlands retailer.

It comes as a new strategy, developed by Dublin City Council and the National Transport Authority, is aiming to reduce the number of private cars driving through the city centre.

The relocation of traffic is expected to be in place in August, despite concerns regarding the lack of public transport to fill the gap.
