A case of covid-19 has been confirmed at a secondary school in Laois.
Laois Offaly Education and Training Board says one student has contracted the virus at Dunamase College in Portlaoise.
The school remains open, with close contacts requested to stay at home, where remote lessons and support will be provided online.
