Cattle And Sheep Farming 'No Longer Viable' Career - ICSA President-Elect

The Westmeath man's comments come after the signing of the updated Climate Action Plan, which aims to reduce the National Herd by 10% by 2030.

Cattle and sheep farming is no longer a viable source of income.

That's according to President Elect of the Irish Cattle and Sheep Farmers Association, Sean McNamara, who says costs have become far too high.

This follows the Government's signing of the updated Climate Action Plan, which aims to cut the National Herd by 10% by 2030.
