Charity Signs Contract To Provide Social Housing Across Midlands

The Peter McVerry Trust is bringing the Housing First scheme to the region.

The Peter McVerry Trust is bringing the Housing First scheme to the midlands.

The charity is signing three-year contracts with Westmeath, Laois and Offaly County Councils, to provide social housing for 40 people in the region, at a cost of €500,000.

The model helps homeless people by finding stable accommodation, before dealing with other personal issues.
