A Westmeath care facility is being praised for its homely feel in its latest inspection report.
The Delvin Centre was found to be entirely compliant with regulations following their most recent HIQA inspection.
Residents of the Delvin Centre are treated with respect and given support where ever its needed, according to the Health Watchdog.
Out of 19 areas inspected, the centre was found to be compliant in all.
Previous reports noted issues with the cleanliness and decoration of the premises as well as problems with management systems, both of which are now deemed substantially compliant.
At the time of inspection, there were four adult residents of the facility with a moderate intellectual disability, autism and behaviours that challenge.
The centre was also lauded for promoting a restraint free environment.
