Aoife Masterson and John Leahy clashed during a monthly meeting.
The Chair of Offaly County Council has told a Sinn Fein Councillor not bring "bullshit" to him.
It comes after Tullamore rep Aoife Masterson alleged John Leahy told her to go F*** herself in a terse and tense month meeting of the local authority this week.
There was just one motion on the agenda at Offaly Council's latest meeting this month.
Aoife Masterson wants the local authority to adopt live streaming for all meetings.
The topic has been the source of a long running dispute between both Ms Masterson, and Cathaoirleach John Leahy.
While introducing the motion the Sinn Fein rep described how Offaly had seen the highest proportion of spoiled votes in the country outside of Dublin for the presidential election.
She said this followed a decision by councillors from the main government parties to vote against backing any candidate.
She said that decision was made behind closed doors.
Mr Leahy interjected insisting those meetings took place at his instruction on the day.
He then told Ms Masterson she had run out of time to present the motion and she could add whatever else she needed to in a press release afterwards.
Ms Masterson responded by saying she'd try not defame him they way he did her on Midlands 103
Things got worse from there, when Mr Leahy suggested he'd been threatened with legal action when he refused to talk to her about the issue.
While the Sinn Fein Councillor said he told her to go F*** herself.
The County Chair insisted he never used that kind of language, and simply told her not to bring this kind of bullshit to him.
He ruled Aoife Masterson out of order, and told the motion's seconder, Sean O'Brien he'd be happy to put the motion back on the agenda when they "get their act together"
