New CPR Course Launched To Help Save Lives In The Midlands

It's hoped a new CPR training course will save lives in the midlands.

The Laois and Offaly Education and Training Board has launched the new initiative to increase awareness of live-saving skills in towns and villages across the region.

25 groups have already signed up in the last month.

Peter Naughton, a retired consultant surgeon at Portlaoise Regional Hospital, has been working to identify defib locations in Laois and promote first aid training.
