Chris Delaney paid over €5k on deposit for new windows in September.
An Offaly family could be €5,500 out of pocket in the run up to Christmas after a Tullamore business closed its doors without communication or explanation.
Chris Delaney says he paid a 50% deposit to Eco Solutions in September to get new windows fitted on his home in Blueball.
This came after the company has visited the house, and taken the required design measurements.
Since then, Mr Delaney has been unable to contact the company.
He has since received a creditor's notice indicating Eco Solutions is to be liquidated.
As of January this year, the company employed 21 staff.
A series of recent Trust Pilot reviews indicate a number of other customers have experienced similar issues.
