A decision on planning permission for a controversial waste facility in Laois is due next week.
Bord na Móna Powergen Limited is planning to build an anaerobic digestor - which converts organic matter into renewable gas - in the Cúil na Móna Bog in Portlaoise.
An action group was set up last year, opposing to the proximity of the facility to residential areas - and to date, 215 submissions have been received by Laois County Council.
The local authority is to make a decision on the application on Monday.
