A midlands travel agent says over 200 newly-trained security staff are due to start in the next three weeks.

Delays at security in Dublin Airport should be alleviated before the peak of the summer holiday season.

Midlands travel agent Jackie Spain says over 200 newly-trained security staff are due to be rolled out in the next three weeks.

Dublin Airport Authority is now advising passengers on short-haul flights not to arrive more than two and half hours before their flight.

Jackie, from Cloud9 Travel in Tullamore, also suggests using fast-track security to help with any airport anxiety:
