They were stopped in Tullamore by members of the Offaly Roads Policing Unit on patrol yesterday.
Gardaí discovered the driver - who tested positive for cocaine - was already disqualified, had no tax or insurance, and also had an existing bench warrant .
Laois Roads Policing Unit also arrested a motorist on the M7 who failed a roadside breath test, and separately, caught a driver travelling at 182 kilometres per hour in a 120 kilometre zone.
Prosecutions are to follow in both cases.
