The Athlone based company is the first company in the country to have an electric depot.
DPD Ireland has delivered its 10 millionth parcel by electric vehicle, six months ahead of schedule.
The Athlone based company made the switch to electric vehicles to reduce their environmental impact.
They made their 10 millionth delivery to the Minister of Enterprise Trade and Employment and newly re-elected Longford-Westmeath TD, Peter Burke.
