The works to Ballyroan plant will start on August 18th and last for a full year.
A major upgrade to a wastewater treatment plant in Laois is set to start next Monday.
Uisce Eireann is confirming that a 1 point five million euro upgrade on the Ballyroan plant will start on the 18th August, and is expected to be completed next year.
Works which include delivery of a new tank, new pumps, and a new operating control panel are taking place solely on the site, with no local road delays or disruption to local water supply expected.
