She was much-loved teacher at Gaelscoil Phortlaoise.
A fundraiser set up in memory of a Laois teacher has raised over 20,000 euro in a day.

She had planned to fundraise for the local club, but those plans were cut short.
The school says they learnt of her untimely passing on Sunday with great shock and sadness.
You can donate to the fundraiser here.
