Gardaí have seized approximately €20,000 worth of cannabis following the search of a vehicle in Laois.
A man, aged in his 40s, was arrested after the seizure was made in the Portlaoise area on Sunday.
He is due to appear before Portlaoise District Court later this month.
In a related operation West Cork Divisional Drugs Unit, searched a vehicle in the Kilgarvan and cannabis to the value of €60,000 was discovered and seized.
