A teenager and a man in his 20s were arrested.
Over €20,000 and drugs estimated to be worth €8,000 have been seized by Gardaí in Westmeath.
The cash and 11 cannabis plants were discovered following a search of a house in Athlone on Friday.
Two men, one in his late teens and the other in his 20s, have been charged in relation to the incident.
They are due to appear before the courts in Athlone on November 18th.
