A Laois woman is leading the effort to get Meals on Wheels re-established in the county's biggest town.
Meals on Wheels shut down in Portlaoise in June 2023 and has not re-opened in the area since.
Various attempts have been made to restore the service since - but a new charity organisation needs to be founded to secure funding.
