The incident took place shortly before 8pm on Saturday night.
Emergency Services are currently at the scene of a fatal fire at a home in Edenderry, Offaly.
Gardaí and other emergency services reached the scene of the incident at around 7.45pm, Saturday evening.
The fire has been extinguished by the local Fire Service.
It is believed that there are fatalities at the scene.
A Garda spokesperson says they're not in a position to provide any further details at this stage.
