The German and history teacher's daily fines for contempt of court have increased as well.
Enoch Burke has been fined €225,000 for returning to a Westmeath school in defiance of a court order.
That penalty is in addition to the nearly €80,000 thousand euro in fines the teacher has accrued for standing outside Wilson's Hospital school in Multyfarnham in contempt of court.
Mr Justice David Nolan also decided to increase the daily fine from €1,400 to €2,000, according to the Irish Independent.
Mr Burke has been spared a jail sentence despite the an application from the board of management at Wilson's Hospital School.
The teacher was suspended in August 2022 and fired in January 2023 following a series of incidents in which he publicly voiced opposition, on religious grounds, to a request to staff from the then principal that a transgender child be called by a new name and they/them pronouns.
