He has now served over 500 days in prison in relation to his ongoing dispute with Wilson's Hospital School.
Enoch Burke has returned to stand outside his former school in Westmeath this morning.
Mr Burke, who previously taught at St Wilson's Hospital School in Multyfarnham, is appealing against his dismissal after he clashed with the then school principal over a decision to call a transgender student by a different name and use they/them pronouns.
He has now served over 500 days in prison and has accumulated €193,000 in fines for continuously appearing at the school - €700 every time now doubled to €1,400.
