The school has been subject to a number of delays in the past year.
The ESB is ready to move onto the next phase of work at a new midlands special school building.
Parents and staff at Kolbe Special School in Portlaoise have repeatedly voiced their frustrations with frequent delays to the new building, which have been ongoing for the past 10 months.
The ESB says it's ready to divert cables at the site, once the contractor employed by the school finishes and certifies his work on the ducting.
