Guidelines for managing eulogies during funeral services in the Catholic Church would be helpful, according to a parish priest in Laois.
Father Paddy Byrne of Abbeyleix is speaking as currently the process varies for different parishes around Ireland.
At the moment, there are no guidelines in place for how to manage a eulogy in the Kildare - Leighlin Diocese which covers areas in Laois and Offaly.
