European Agriculture Minister Open To Visiting Ireland To Discuss Nitrates Derogation

He's awaiting an invitation from the Taoiseach.

The European Agriculture Commissioner is yet to receive an invite to Ireland from the Taoiseach, despite a promise made to farmers last week.

Leo Varadkar told the IFA he would seek a meeting with Virginijus Sinkevicius in relation to cuts to the nitrates derogation.

The plans mean farmers would have to reduce their herd.
