Fianna Fáil Aiming To Reduce Emergency Department Waiting Times

They're targeting a maximum wait of four hours.

Fianna Fáil says developing more small medical facilities in rural towns will alleviate pressure in Regional Hospitals in the Midlands. 

In its manifesto, the party is targeting a maximum waiting time of four hours in Emergency Departments.

Their candidate in Laois/Offaly, Sean Fleming, stopped short of declaring they would end a recruitment embargo in the HSE.

He says the real problem lies with how staff are being recruited:
