Fine Gael is committing to funding the necessary upgrades of the countries water networks.
That's the message from their Meath/West candidate Sarah Reilly who estimates it'll cost the state 8.5 billion euro as part of project Ireland 2040.
Ms. Reilly says she appreciates the frustrations people deal with when there is a lack of water available.
