They've been granted bail under strict conditions.
Five people have appeared in court charged in connection with an alleged hit and run in a Longford car park last year.
The four men and one woman, who are part of an extended family, were brought before Longford District court this morning.
Two men are charged with dangerous driving causing serious bodily harm to three individuals, while a 30 year old man was charged with violent disorder as well as producing a hatchet during an incident and a 25-year-old was charged with producing a hammer as well as violent disorder.
A 27-year-old woman was also charged with attempting to impede a Garda investigation.
All five were granted bail under strict conditions including staying off social media and not engaging with any of the injured parties or witnesses - and all five are due back in court on the 22nd of this month.
