Gardaí arrested eight people yesterday as part of their investigation.
Five people remain in custody in relation to the murder of an Offaly man earlier this year.
Gardaí arrested eight people yesterday as part of their investigation into the fatal assault of Mark Loughlin in Allenwood South, Co. Kildare on January 3rd.
Three have since been released without charge and a file is being prepared for the Director of Public Prosecutions.
Investigations are continuing.
MURDER: The Offaly man died shortly after being assaulted last January.
