Five young people in Laois have pleaded guilty to a range of charges including theft, criminal damage, and deception.
The individuals aged between 15 and 20 appeared before Portlaoise District Court yesterday-as part of an investigation into the unauthorised taking of vehicles in the area.
A sixth individual also appeared in court yesterday but has pleaded not guilty to the charges with their case listed for hearing.
Local Gardaí have said they will continue to monitor the situation closely-with strict bail conditions remaining in place for all offenders.
