Storm Dennis is on his way.
A status yellow rainfall warning has been issued for the entire country as Storm Denis approaches.
Forecasters are warning people in the midlands to expect flooding this weekend when Storm Dennis arrives.
It says flooding is likely and very strong winds may also cause disruption.
Offaly's Cathal Nolan, from Ireland's Weather Channel, says the midlands will be among some of the worst hit areas:
Storm Ciara caused some disruption last weekend, with power cuts in several areas.
And, according to Rhode native Cathal, Storm Dennis is likely to do the same, bringing very wet and windy conditions.
Mr. Nolan is also advising there will be some flooding along the Barrow and Owenass rivers in Laois.
