The Seanad is considering a proposal aimed at speeding up the property sales process.
Senator Aubrey McCarthy is calling for a seller’s legal pack to aid the speeding up of property sales, which is on the back of a 2021 bill first introduced by TD Marc MacSharry.
By providing key information upfront, the pack will reduce disputes linked to non-refundable costs such as surveys, legal fees and mortgage valuations when sales collapse.
