New buildings and extensions in Birr, Portarlington and Portlaoise are earmarked to be tendered or built by the end of 2027.
New Government plans are putting an increased focus on the delivery of school projects, and special needs places.
The NDP Sectoral Investment Plan, announced today, will initially focus on the completion of almost 300 projects, currently under construction, to deliver 30 thousand school places.
Over the next two years, 105 projects will progress to tender or construction, adding a further 27 thousand spaces, with all projects including special needs facilities.
An extension for St Francis's Special School in Portlaoise and a new school building for Portarlington's Coláiste Íosagain have made the list.
Killeigh's Scoil Shincill, St. Brendan's Community School in Birr ,Durrow National School and Offaly School of Special Education in Tullamore have also been earmarked.
Education Minister Hildegarde Naughton, says they're doing everything they can to ensure there are enough trained teachers in place too:
