Four MEP's Arrested Over Qatar Bribery

Greek MEP Eva Kaili was among 4 people arrested in connection with an alleged bribery probe. 

MEP's are set to vote on whether to strip one of their colleagues of her role as one of the parliaments 14 vice-presidents.

The home of another MEP was also searched and items including large sums of cash were seized as part of the investigation into alleged corruption involving officials from Qatar.

The European Parliament has voted in favour of ousting an MEP as vice-president of the parliament. 

Greek representative Eva Kaili has denied her involvement in an alleged bribery scandal connected to World Cup host Qatar.

She and three others have been arrested, after hundreds of thousands of euro in cash was found in a number of properties, including one belonging to an MEP.
