82 OPW-owned buildings are vacant across the country.
Two former Met Eireann buildings are among the empty Office of Public Works' properties in the midlands.
One of those is in Birr, with the other in Mullingar - both are being planned for disposal, with preparation already underway in Offaly.
Across the country, 82 buildings, including Garda Stations and Coastguard stations owned by the OPW are lying vacant.
A Decentralisation site in Portlaoise is also included in that list, as well as a site at the back of the Garda Station in Daingean.
The figures were revealed to Labour Leader Ivana Bacik.
