A free event focusing on the importance of oral history is taking place in Westmeath tomorrow.
'Craft, Care and Community' runs tomorrow in Athlone's Sheraton Hotel from 9:30am-4:30pm featuring projects on midwifery and fishermen.
Oral History Network Ireland hosts the event, and will also provide a training session on how to carry out a oral history project.
