Jonathan McCowen launched the fundraiser to secure a future for his wife and kids.
A fundraising campaign, supporting a midlands man battling motor neurone disease, has almost hit its target of 750,000 Australian Dollars.
Portarlington's Jonathan McCowen suffers with ALS and launched a fundraiser in July to raise enough money to secure a home for his family.
The aggressive form of MND is incurable, with Mr McCowen having lost the ability to walk and talk.
Just over $701,317 has been raised.
He hopes money donated provides a 'secure future' for his wife Sherrie and daughters Darcy and Riley.
