Portarlington's Jonathan McCowen suffers with ALS and launched a fundraiser in July to raise enough money to secure a home for his family.
The aggressive form of MND is incurable, with Mr McCowen having lost the ability to walk and talk.
Just over $701,317 has been raised.
He hopes money donated provides a 'secure future' for his wife Sherrie and daughters Darcy and Riley.
