The fire occured on the morning of February 20th in Kilnacourt Woods, Portarlington.
A fundraiser to support those affected by a fire at an apartment block in Laois has reached and exceeded its target.
Over 2,800 euro has been raised to support residents of The Oaks in Kilnacourt Woods in Portarlington - with a goal of 2,000 euro.
The blaze broke out in the early hours of Thursday February 20th, with two men left hospitalised and 17 families evacuated from the building.
It's one of a number of fundraisers that has been started by the local community to support residents who have been living in temporary accommodation since the incident.
