That's the call from it's chairperson Noel Tuhoy.
The Chairperson of Portlaoise Leisure Centre says a decision must be made on it's future in the next seven days.
Noel Tuhoy wants the issue to be the main topic of the monthly meeting of Laois County Council on Monday.
Over 300 people gathered outside the facility this morning to stage a protest against it's closure.
Cllr Tuohy is still hopeful its fate can be reversed:
