Offaly County Council will make a decision on two large-scale planning proposals.
Plans for nearly 300 new homes in a midlands town could be given the green light early next week.
John Flanagan Developments is seeking planning permission for 148 new residential units on Tyrells Road in Tullamore.
That project would consist of one and two-storey houses, apartments and age-friendly assisted-living homes, with a decision on that development due on Tuesday.
Offaly County Council will also decide the future of 126 units on Collins Lane on the same day.
Those plans consist of 102 houses and 24 apartments, and the provision of a créche.
